Ontario's list of legal sites includes NorthStar Bets for sports betting and casino games, but Alberta has not approved the brand Its name is absent from AGLC's register, the official record of gambling companies approved by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis. The Alberta iGaming Corporation's register of sites open to Albertans omits it too
While you are in Alberta, no. iGaming Ontario's listed sites serve players located inside Ontario (its legal-sites list) The approved Alberta sites are the reverse: you must be inside Alberta to use them (player questions). Your NorthStar Bets account stays tied to Ontario.
According to the Alberta iGaming Corporation, approved Alberta sites must keep your deposits in a Canadian trust account apart from the business (player questions). They also join AGLC's Self-Exclusion Program, which keeps you off every approved site at the same time, and complaints a site has left unresolved for 72 hours may go to the Alberta iGaming Corporation. Without approval, a site gives you none of this, and the corporation cautions that no oversight is guaranteed (see its player page).

No. Because AGLC has not approved it, it may not accept bets from anyone in Alberta. For the same sports betting and casino games, choose a site approved by AGLC.
Two things would need to happen first: AGLC registration for the company behind NorthStar Bets, plus a signed agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation. Both steps were taken by every site open here. Each week, we check both lists. Should NorthStar Bets appear there, we will say so here and include the brand on our list of open sites.
