Rivalry has no approval in Alberta. Its name does not appear in AGLC's register, the official record of the gambling companies Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis has approved. It is also missing from the open sites the Alberta iGaming Corporation names, and iGaming Ontario does not list it either.
No. Private companies run legal betting sites in just two provinces: Alberta and Ontario. Rivalry is on neither of their lists (iGaming Ontario, as of 1 September 2026). In every other province, the lottery runs the single betting site, as our province guide shows.
A site without approval gets no guaranteed oversight and no promise that players are protected, says the Alberta iGaming Corporation (its player page).
